Protolabs

CoBeck most recently provided pre-construction services for Protolabs new facility in Brooklyn Park.  We completed 153,000 sf renovation of existing office, manufacturing and warehouse spaces and 54,000 sf manufacturing expansion.  New electrical service was required for new manufacturing equipment needs. 
All design work was performed in a collaborative manner working with Protolabs engineers and MEP design team as we had only 5 months to finish the renovations to allow for there equipment relocations moves and testing. We establish a timeline for key meetings with each group to keep all personnel on track. We have over 110 mechanical/electrical drops for all of their equipment through the plant with rework of the all the underground plumbing needs. On the addition, we installed a 10” matt slab to allow for any size and equipment platform to avoid any future pad or rework with their future needs.  photo source: Protolabs
