M Health Fairview Lakes OR 5

CoBeck partnered with EAPC Architects to complete the renovation of M Health Fairview Lakes Operating Rooms 5. Given the sensitive nature of an active healthcare environment, careful planning and coordination were critical to the success of this project. Throughout construction, CoBeck worked closely with M Health Fairview Facilities and Infection Prevention to develop and implement a comprehensive security, site logistics, and ICRA plan, ensuring patient safety and minimizing disruptions to staff and daily operations. Maintaining access, cleanliness, and communication with the user groups remained a top priority from start to finish. 

The project scope included demolition and build-out work to support updated operating room functionality. Demolition activities were performed in OR 5, including removal of finishes and equipment. CoBeck completed MEP rough-ins, above-ceiling MEP coordination, and fireproofing to support upgraded systems throughout the renovated spaces. 

Interior construction included new drywall partitions, and specialty in grid work. Fluid-applied flooring systems were installed in OR 5 along with resilient flooring installation throughout the other project areas. Additional work included door installations, surgery lighting installation and coordination of remaining Fairview-provided equipment.
